It’s Your Time! Did you know that you could bring in an extra $500+ each month with one of your amazing ideas? Well, if you didn’t, I am going to introduce a cool idea that can get you moving in the right direction. This idea is called print on demand.
Print on demand is an amazing trendy business idea where you can place your design on products and have a manufacturing company print and ship for you. Profit margin is key when using this resource. I use this feature everyday with my print on demand tools. I couple Printful (design and product platform) with Etsy (selling marketplace) in order to make another stream of income.
To make this income can be fairly easy, however, it only becomes easy after you put a little work in with coordination and in some areas automation. If by chance you do not know how to design, you can even outsource through various platforms like Fiverr and Upwork. Since Printful and Etsy have been my integration of choice, I’ll share links to each platform and ways to get started free.
Starting free only takes a click on each link in this blog. In order to get started sign up for a Printful account and Etsy account. These platforms are two of the most economical. Once you sign up for each account, you simply integrate them within the Printful platform by adding your Etsy store.
You can sign up for printful at no charge, click here !
You can sign up for Etsy and use my affiliate link and get 40 free listings, click here !
Each product designed in printful can be linked to Etsy and posted for .20cents each. Your first 40 listings are free, which is a great start. You would market your products by sharing your store link with those who are in your target market. This could be your online audience, friends and family. The best practice to jump start your journey would be to add $100 to your printful wallet in order to process your first few orders online until your profit hits your account within 3-5 days. (I’ll discuss more on that in future blogs).
Best sellers on printful right now include t-shirts, sweatshirts, hats, totes and mugs. These items yield anywhere from $3 - $10 profit per item. The convenient part of this process is that it is all print on demand and you will not have to store any of the inventory. It’s completely hands off once the product file is uploaded on the product and displayed on Etsy. The customer pays the shipping and handling fees unless you decide to include the shipping in the overall price. (it’s a popular idea to post items with free shipping)
That’s It! You are ready to start selling with $0 to start with Printful and Etsy.
Now, if you’d like me to take the journey with you and provide a Jump Start, I have a cool option for you. It’s the Etsy Jumpstart Package with Michelle LeAnn. This is where I do the heavy lifting to get you started on both platforms.
Here’s a breakdown of the package:
There is an $80 retainer cost to get started with your project and set up your store, create your first 10 designs, upload on products and post them on your new Etsy Shop. The basic cost of store creation and development is $250 which includes store set up, design of the first 10 products (print files belong to you) and integration of platforms. The balance of $170 is due 90 days after your site goes live which gives a 3 month time frame to yield a substantial profit if the store is marketed consistently to your established target market. There is no guarantee of sales, however, you will have everything you need to be successful! A few ways to market your store can include options such as facebook page, Instagram, TikTok, pinterest boards, email list, friends and family. You’d be surprised how many people are looking for the next cool item to purchase online from your store.
If this is the option for you, simply jump right over to my online store and place the order for your Etsy Setup, click here .
Well, I hope I’ve made this pretty simple and you are on your way to earning extra cash each month! Much success on your journey and feel free to leave a comment with questions I can answer in future blogs!
